In this blog I am going to teach you how to introduce yourslf.
このブログでは自己紹介の仕方をおしえます。
Rules to remember:
覚えておくルール
Only introduce yourself using your first name.
下の名前だけ言うこと。
Talk about your family - don’t use the word “members” for family. Use ”I have…..”
家族のことを話す ※memberという単語は使わない。I have 〜. を使う。
When you are talking about family don’t forget ”my”
親や兄弟の前にはmyをつける。
Talk about your hobbies and likes
趣味や好きなことを話す。
Say only positive things about yourself
あなたの良いことだけ話す。
それでは例文です。5人の自己紹介がありますので、それを読んで自分の自己紹介の参考にしましょう。
１．
Hello. My name is Hiroshi. I’m an engineer . I work for Toyota. I am married and have two children. I live in Nagoya city. I am very busy with my work so I don’t have much time off. On my days off I usually spend time with my children. My oldest son plays baseball. On Sunday mornings I play catch ball with him. My wife works part-time at a supermarket. I am learning English because I often travel to America with my work.

Hello. My name is Akiko. I am a university student. I study Psychology. My major is English. My hobbies are tennis and caligraphy. I play tennis about three times a week. I live with my parents in Nerima. I have an older sister and younger brother. On weekends I often go out with my university friends. We like to go to night clubs to dance. After I finish university I would like to travel abroad. I am planning to study English in Canada next year. In the future I would like to use English in my work.

Hello. My name is Kikuyo. I am a house wife. I live in Tokyo prefecture. I have three children. They are all in their thirities. My oldest daughter is married and has two daugthers. She lives with her hasband in Hokkaido. My oldest son lives in America. He works for a computer company. He is single. I wish he would come back to Japan and settle down. My youngest daughter lives with my husband and I. She is an office lady. I wish she would get married, too. My husband is a public servant. He will retire next year. I don’t work, so I have quite a lot of free time. I mainly do house work and cook meals for my husband and daughter. I don’t really have any hobbies. I like to study english and watch TV. I also like to travel around Japan. Every year in the autumn my husband and I take a trip to Kyoto to see the autumn leaves.

Hello. My name is Takuya. I am a third year junior high school student. I go to Nerima Junior High School. I like my school very much because I have many friends. My hobby is playing table tennis. I get a lot of homework everyday so I don’t have much time to play table tennis. I also go to cram school (juku) three times a week. My favorite subjects are English and History. I don’t know what I want to do in the future, but I think I would like to study about computers when I go to university.

Hello. My name Hiroaki. I am a salary man. I work for a printing company. Most of my work involves making sales and talking to my companys’ clients. I often have to take cilents out for dinner. This means I drink a lot. I am single. I live with my parents in Osaka. On the weekends I usually watch DVDs at home or go to movies. I love cars. I sometimes go driving if the weather is good. I am saving to buy a sports car. After I finished high school I travel around Australia for a year. That is why I am studying English now. I don’t want to lose my English ability.

でも本当は、英語で自己紹介をするには、用意した文章を丸暗記するのではなく、
どんな英語の文章でも一瞬で作成できなければいけません。
